(See what I did there?)
I hadn’t heard of Bee Good until I won a hamper at a blogging event. The company, founded in 2008, had kindly donated this containing an intensive and an everyday hand cream, honey chocolates and 2 lip balms. I was also gifted their Honey and Propolis 2 in 1 cream wash* for every day face cleansing.Hands up, I don’t usually opt only for natural products (which I think I should), but these are made from honey. They’re made in Hampshire and support british bees, working closely with the British Beekeepers and the Bee Farmers Association.
I suffer with terribly dry hands and dry lips in winter. I found the intensive hand cream to be particularly useful, making the skin around my nails (usually dry and flaky) soft. I used it morning and evening, right before bed and the Honey and Crambe hand cream intermittently during the day. Unlike other hand creams I’d used in the past, the creams were not greasy and didn’t cause any irritation despite my extremely sensitive skin.
On using the Cream cleanser (I had the travel sized which lasted a while – it’d easily do 2 fortnight holidays) with the Muslin Cloth, I found that my skin felt clean and soft – but not tingly in the way that some chemical-filled products can leave you. After a couple of days my skin was blemish free and my complexion improved. There are 5 (all natural) key ingredients and this can be used on any skin type.
I wasn’t sure about trying the lip balm at first, it came in a tube and similar products I’d tried had been gloopy. This wasn’t the case. Light feeling (and delicious tasting- I have the Vanilla and Honey and the Raspberry and White Chocolate), I couldn’t get enough of it. I took one of the balms to Iceland, knowing I’d be braving the elements. I didn’t find that the balm dried up and it lasted a long time on my lips, at the end of our break my lips weren’t even the tiniest bit dry.
I’ve been recommending this brand to everyone (no wonder it’s won loads of awards). I’m dying to try the Necta Perfecta Beautifying Mask now!
Have you tried Bee Good? What do you think?
