Take a Walk – Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Today’s #BEDM topic is ‘Walk to Work’. Unfortunately I live around 26 miles from work so unless I fancy a marathon before a full day in the office it’s not really going to happen. I will think about you all walking though and have a cup of strong tea in your honour on the way in to accompany my drive along with Radio 4.

I did take a long wander around the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in Wakefield instead.

The sculptures are amazing. Not all will be to everyone’s taste (but isn’t that just Art?)

I won’t pretend to know about art. But these are some of my favourites.

The Kaws exhibition seemed very popular; it’s the first exhibition of work in a UK museum by the artis and can be seen until 12 June 2016.

YSP is free to visit but there is a charge to park (debit and credit cards are accepted). What are you waiting for?

    • The Buddha is so beautiful. I LOVE that it *isn’t* symmetrical! My favourite has to be the Sophie Ryder one though, I need to look at where I can see more of her work!
